MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY

located between Neosho and Goodman on Highway 59 was established in 1956. It includes five separate gardens and spans over 35 acres in southern Newton County. The garden areas are Resthaven, Last Supper, Acacia (the Masonic Section), Gethsemane, and Sacred Heart (the Catholic Section).

A fifth section has been prepared for future growth and will be known as the Garden of Resurrection.

The well groomed cemetery also offers columbarium niches for cremation inurnments, located beneath the Last Supper, Garden of Gethsemane and Sacred Heart Feature pieces.


IN 2004 a Veteran's Wall of Honor was dedicated and is currently engraved with the names of over 400 service men and women.
