Biography

William M. “Bud Lehar, 77, of Neosho, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in Neosho, following a nine-month illness.. He was born July 20, 1933, in Springfield, MO, to the late William Matthew Lehar and Rosalind (Fabro) Lehar.
Bud was a lifelong Neosho, MO resident and graduated from Neosho High School in 1952. He served in the National Guard for 12 ˝ years. He was manager/agent of the MFA Oil Co. bulk plant, retiring after 40 years. He was a member of the former Newton County Sheriff Posse, and a member of the Route 66 Corvette Cruisers Club.
Bud and Carolyn Macy were married November 23, 2008; Carolyn survives. Additional survivors include a son, Mike Lehar and wife, Ramona, Granby; a brother, Norbert Lehar and wife, Rosemary, Neosho; sisters, Betty Fowler, St. Louis, MO, Fran Hickman, Grove, OK, Sue Crews and husband, Jerry, Tulsa, OK, Loretta Yocom, Neosho; three grandchildren, Matt Lehar and Fiancé’ Kaci, Granby, Kris Lehar and friend, Levi, Racine, Aara and husband, Leon Graham, Granby; three great-grandchildren, William, Wyatt and Weston; and stepsons, Wayne Ezell, S. Carolina, and Steve Ezell, Neosho.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Breen.
