Biography

Olive Ann Edwards, 74, of Neosho, died 4:04 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2006 at St. John's Medical Center after a two month illness. She was born August 22, 1932 in Neosho to Frank and Elizabeth (Hussey) Showalter.

Mrs. Edwards was raised by her father and stepmother, Jessie Showalter. In 1950 she graduated from Granby High School. A lifelong area resident, she was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a Baptist.

In 1954 she was united in marriage to Frank L. Edwards; he preceded her in death May 1, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna L. Edwards, and two brothers, Junior Showalter and James Sapp.

Survivors include, four children and their spouses , Vonna & Rick Cade of El Paso, TX, Janet & Joey Alexander of Seneca, Delbert Edwards of Neosho, and Joe & Donna S. Edwards of Neosho; one sister and brother-in-law, Thelma & Sonny Shewmake of Granby; 18 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
