Diana L. Edwards 60, Goodman, died Monday morning, June 25, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 13, 1946, in Joplin, MO, to Lewis B. Thompson, Sr. and Helen M. (Martin) Thompson.
Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong area resident, and graduated in the Neosho High School class of 1964. She worked for Jarden, (Sunbeam, Neosho Products & Buddy L,) for 38 years in returns, and was an avid bingo player.
Diana and Larry Edwards were married Nov. 1, 1969, in Neosho, MO. Larry survives of the home. Additional survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Terry Thompson; and sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jerry McBride, all of Neosho; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Lewis B. "Butch" Thompson, Jr., Feb. 3, 2006
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thurs. at Clark Chapel of Memories with Billy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, south of Neosho. Pallbearers will be
Travis Harris, Garrett Wencil, Curtis Pace, Matthew McBride, Cameron Crawford and John Buzzard.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wed. from 8 am to 7 pm, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm.
