Alice Beatrice Black, age 83, Granby, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri.  She was born on May 4, 1941, in Granby, Missouri, the daughter of Noble and Nellie (Lloyd) Baker.  Alice was a graduate of Granby High School, class of 1958.  She worked many years as an administrative assistant at Joplin Regional Center – Missouri department of Mental Health and retired in 2003.  Alice loved spending time on the farm and her great joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison (Colby) Wells of Jerico Springs, Missouri, grandchildren, Logan Wells and Ryan Wells, and brother, Corley Baker.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Don Baker, John Baker, Homer Baker and Manford Baker and a sister, Mable Baker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery.
