Obituary

On September 4, 1951, in the heart of Neosho, MO, Raymond and Hazel Rogers welcomed their beloved daughter, Alice Rae Rogers, into the world. She passed away on December 2, 2023, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. Alice embarked on her educational journey at Neosho High School, graduating with the class of 1969. Her thirst for knowledge led her to UCLA, where she earned a bachelor's degree while consistently gracing the Dean's list for four consecutive years. Alice's passion and dedication were evident in her academic achievements. She dedicated her professional career to serving her community as a 911 operator at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office in California. Her commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of others was unwavering.

Alice found solace and inspiration in the embrace of faith as a member of the Second Baptist Church. Her love for literature was evident in her avid reading, a passion that fueled her curiosity and enriched her life. She also found joy in joining senior groups on trips to Las Vegas, cherishing those moments of shared experiences and laughter.

Alice leaves behind a legacy carried by her cherished sisters, Virginia Rogers and Harriett Page, alongside her brother-in-law Jimmy, all residing in Joplin. She is also survived by her nephew Raymond Page, Uncle Clarence Hogue, and numerous cousins, friends, and extended family members who treasured her dearly. Alice is reunited in peace with her parents and her sister, Thelma Joyce Rogers, who preceded her in death.
