~Obituary lovingly written by the family of Bill R. Cupps~

Bill R. Cupps, 90, of Neosho, Mo, went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2023. He was born on November 25, 1933, in the Lone Star area of Missouri, to Gene and Fern Cupps.

He graduated from Granby High School in 1951. He then married his high school sweetheart Dorothy Snow on September 29, 1952, and enjoyed 71 wonderful years together, she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Billy Cupps (Anita) of Neosho and Mark Cupps (Pam) of Joplin. One sister, Barbara Hancock of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two granddaughters, Jamie Chastain (Jeramie) and Nikki Burks (Troy), 1 step granddaughter Andrea Simek (Lenny), 1 step grandson Wyatt Hatfield (Brooklyn). 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Bill worked at the former Rocketdyne/Teledyne plant for 41.5 years. His friends and family heard him tell many stories of the times he worked at the plant. He enjoyed his work very much. Over the years he raised many bird dogs and enjoyed quail and pheasant hunting.

He attended Granby Gospel Tabernacle for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Rita Ruth and one brother Jimmy Cupps.

Bill was dearly loved by all of his family and friends.
