Obituary

Billy Joe Eubanks, 69, of the Neosho, Missouri area, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. He was born on December 9, 1956, in Neosho, Missouri, to Silas Glen Eubanks and Eula Dean (Edens) Eubanks.

Billy Joe was a hardworking man who took pride in working hard and providing for those he loved. He was a longtime attendee of Church of Hope, where his faith was an important part of his life.

Billy Joe enjoyed the simple things in life, especially playing his guitar and spending time catfishing. He was also a huge fan of the Chiefs and thoroughly enjoyed watching them play. He found joy in being outdoors, fishing, and doing the things he loved. Those who knew him will remember him for his strong work ethic, his love of music, and the memories he made with his family and friends.

Billy Joe is survived by his children, Savaya Eubanks of Anderson, Missouri; Darin Eubanks of Anderson, Missouri; Katrina Eubanks of Neosho, Missouri; Kristin Gunerson of Diamond, Missouri; and Stormie and husband Garrett Lutz of Newburg; brother, Virgil Eubanks and wife Linda of Joplin, Missouri; and 13 grandchildren, along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Billy Joe leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His love of family, music, hard work, and fishing will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
