Robert William "Billy" Millikin

God sent Billy to earth to enrich our lives on October 17, 1973.  Born on Marine Corps Base 29 Palms, California, he grew up primarily in Neosho, Missouri.  Billy was a graduate of Neosho High School class of 1992. An avid outdoorsman, he loved living his days at his grandparents' farm fishing, hunting, swimming in Indian Creek, and eating Grandma's grilled cheese sandwiches. Currently, he was employed as a sales representative at Consumer Supply Distributing, LLC.

He met the love of his life, his brown-eyed angel Marti Rene Rush, as a teenager. Destiny prevailed, and they married on February 25, 1995, with sons Dylan and Connor joining the family in 1997 and 2002.  With charisma, charm, and indomitable cheerfulness, he deepened the experiences of life for his family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Always the crackup, he was an "onery" jokester, but immeasurably loving, kind, and dedicated to his family and friends.

At his weakest, he allowed God to move in his life.  As 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 tells us, so therefore I am well content with weakness; for when I am weak, then I am strong.  He was a member Calvary Baptist Church of Neosho.  Billy's inner and outer strength has inspired many, many others and continues to do so.

His life and impact cannot be distilled in a few paragraphs; however, his greatest treasure is his family whom he loved deeply.

Billy is survived by his wife, Marti, of Neosho;  His two sons, Dylan Millikin of Springfield, MO and Connor Millikin of Neosho; His father, Bob Millikin of Kansas City;  his mother, Terri Testerman of Neosho;  Three sisters:  Stephanie of Neosho, Katie, of Kansas City and Jess, of Kansas City;  One brother, Adam, of Montana.  His mother-in-law, Phyllis Rush of Neosho.  Additional survivors include numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Shirley Millikin and his maternal grandparents, Ray Testerman and Winnie Reed.

Our cherished Billy Boy has gone to heaven, and his memories glisten with gold.
