In Loving Memory of Carolyn Frona Beavers

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Carolyn Frona Beavers, who passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, at the age of 86.

Carolyn was born on June 4, 1940, in Seneca, Missouri, to Floyd Ritter and Gertrude (Hierholzer) Ritter. She was also lovingly raised by Lucille Ritter, who preceded her in death. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and Lucille.

Carolyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who absolutely cherished her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to make someone feel remembered and loved, especially when it came to birthdays and Christmas. She made it a tradition to send cards to her loved ones, always making sure they knew they were in her thoughts and heart.

Carolyn had a true caretaker's heart. She spent much of her life taking care of others and making sure the people around her were looked after. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling whenever the opportunity arose. Her love of family and her generous, caring spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Carolyn had a long and dedicated career serving the people of San Bernardino County, California, where she retired as a Court Clerk Supervisor.

She leaves behind her beloved children: Randy (Kristi) Beavers of Williams, Arizona; Tami Lou (Peter) Castillo of Melbourne, Australia; Brenda Beavers of Neosho, Missouri; and Brent Beavers of San Leandro, California.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, who were among the greatest joys of her life.

Carolyn is also survived by her sisters, Betty VanDorn and Joan Bynorth, and her brother, Larry Ritter.

Carolyn's life was one of love, service, family, and devotion. Her caring nature, thoughtful cards, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will continue through the many generations of her family.
