Obituary lovingly written by the Eden family...

Charri Ann Edens, born on March 10, 1967 in Monett, passed away peacefully at her home in Newtonia on January 8th with her loving husband by her side.

Charri was an amazing businesswoman, owning her own real estate company and working as an international broker. She and her husband also owned Richard Eden's trucking company, which made a significant impact in their community. Charri also served as the Mayor of Newtonia, demonstrating her dedication to public service.

She is survived by her two sons, Dallas Gary and Otti Gary, Otti's wife, Carla Gary, her stepdaughter Dakota Edens, Dakota's children Payton and Brooklyn, her father Mike Smith (Pam), her sister Shelli Copeland (Ryan), her niece Ryli Schriever (Jackson), along with her great-nephew Rohan.

Also survived by her brother-in-law Dan Pekarek, her niece Emily Pekarek (Anthony), and her niece Abby Pekarek. Charri's memory will be cherished by her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian, sister, Sheila, her grandparents, and her aunts and uncles.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Newtonia Baptist Church in Stark City, Missouri, followed by a memorial service from 11:00AM - 11:30AM.
