Beloved Father, husband, and friend; Christopher Michael Surratt, 51, of Ritchey, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Christopher, fondly known as Chris, was born to Peggy Surratt, on May 23, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri. On June 1, 1999, he married Concha Fernandez, Wahoo, NE; they had two daughters. He was a talented artist, car and woodworking enthusiast. Chris could take any car and be able to get it up and running in no time. He was a natural at rebuilding older cars.

He was a problem-solver who often took on unwanted tasks both at home and at work, from fixing a car, a home project, or helping friends and family. He was always there when you needed him. He worked for the Newton County Common Road District for the past few years, fixing roads and bridges.

Survivors include his two daughters, Vivian Surratt and Priscilla Surratt, and his granddaughter, Leah Blake. He was preceded in death by his wife of seventeen years, Concha Fernandez Surratt, and his mother, Peggy Surratt. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
