David Allen Johnson, 80, of Billings, Missouri, passed away on August 14, 2023, following a brief illness. He was born June 30, 1943, in Johnson City, Tennessee. David was a self-employed and commercial carpenter. He framed houses and did trim work. He was a wonderful finish carpenter as well as being noted for the beautiful furniture that he built. David also served our Country during the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Air Force. David loved to fish and hunt.

David was united in marriage to Beverly Janette Brown on December 27, 1963, in Harrisonville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2019. He is survived by two sons, Todd (Tracy) Johnson of Belton, Missouri, and Craig Johnson of Marionville, Missouri. One grandson, Joshua Johnson, and four great-grandchildren, Kynnley, Quintin, Coltton, Kinzie.

Funeral services will be at 10:45 am on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home - Granby Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Carol Oakes. Pallbearers will be Jason Hudson, Bobby Paul, Lee Riley, Eric Ragain, Jamie Craig, Jason Portenier, and Tim Brown as alternate. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery at 11:30 am, where the Missouri Funeral Honors Program will perform full Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Funeral Home from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the services.
