David Lee Ledbetter was born in Neosho, Missouri, on October 4, 1955, and entered into rest on September 15, 2023, at the age of 67.  David served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated an over the road trucking company.  He enjoyed fireworks, golf, boating, and especially his family.  He attended Racine Christian Church.  On September 1, 1973, David and Eva Jean (Picht) were united in marriage at Spokane, Washington, and Eva Jean survives of the home.  In addition to his wife of 50 years, David is survived by his children, Daryn (Esther) Ledbetter, Dawn (Shamaya Kreeger) Kimmel, Dayna Ledbetter, Devon (Rachel) Ledbetter and Devon Ledbetter; one brother, Roy Ledbetter and ten grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by an infant son, Bryant Ledbetter, his mother, Wilma, his father, John Schumaker and great great grandmother, Velva Spoon.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 1 pm, at the home of his son, Daryn, at 5592 State Highway DD, Seneca, Missouri  64865.
