Dennis F. Freeman entered into rest on Monday, September 4, 2023, at the age of 74.  Dennis was born on March 25, 1949, in Joplin, Missouri, one of four children to Paul F. Freeman and Betty (Whitescarver) Moore.  He graduated from Galena High School and was a lifelong area resident.  He worked at Hawk engineering as a machinist until retirement.  Dennis loved being outdoors and fishing.  He will truly be missed.  On May 6, 1972, he married Victoria L. (Anderson) and they shared fifty-one years together.  Victoria survives of the home.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Denise (Randy) Ezell of Neosho, Missouri, Stacie (Jerry) Wilson of Joplin, Missouri; two sons, Donald (Becky) Freeman of Webb City, Missouri and Trace Freeman of Joplin, Missouri; one brother, Mike Freeman of Pierce City, Missouri; one sister, Marsha Holmes of Lubbock, Texas and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Paula Jo Freeman.  There are no services planned at this time.
