Dennis Wayne "Dan" Hankins, age 75, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born April 10, 1947, in Harligen, Texas, to the late Charles Pink Hankins and Mabel Corilla Ivy (Corbin) Hankins. Dan married Rosemary McCracken, and she preceded him in death. He worked as a truck driver for many years retiring from Leggit and Platt. Dan attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Stella, Missouri. He will be lovingly missed by his girlfriend, Tara Gail Powers, Children Michael Wayne Hankins, Deanne Hankins, and Daniel Hankins, and numerous grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents.
