Dixie Lee Crace was born July 4, 1943, in Nelsonville, Ohio, one of eight children to Virgil and Verna (McConaha) Huddy.  She entered into rest on August 1, 2023, at the age of 80.  Dixie graduated from Libby High School in Toledo, Ohio.  She worked in manufacturing for a medical supplier.  In September of 2021, she relocated to Neosho, Missouri to be near her family.  She was a collector of angels and lighthouses and attended the First Baptist Church in Neosho.  Dixie is survived by two daughters, Cheryle Perkins of Neosho and Julia Pugh of Thomasville, Alabama; siblings, Judith Kight of Sandusky, Ohio, Edward Huddy of McComb, Michigan and Cindy Nowicki of Zephyrills, Florida; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other family.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her fiance', Dave Etzell and siblings, Bill, Pat, Karen and Becky.

A private family memorial service will be held at later date.
