Elizabeth Ann Horine, age 90, departed this life on May 27, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on October 12, 1933, to Emmanuel Psajdl and Ruzuna (Votava) Psajdl in Beloit, Wisconsin. Elizabeth graduated from high school in June 1951 and subsequently worked at Beloit State Bank and Beloit Daily News.
She married Clifford W. Jones on September 3, 1954. During their marriage, Elizabeth was employed by Sale Memorial Hospital in Neosho, Missouri. Elizabeth and Clifford were married for 37 years until his passing on April 1, 1992. She later married Theodore "Scottie" Horine on February 14, 2009, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2013.
Elizabeth is survived by her brother Robert Seidel of Beloit, Wisconson; nieces Kim Psajdl (Thurman Taylor) Stella, Missouri, Laura Lockhart, Aurora, Illinois, Cindy Seidel Folts, and Therese Seidel Oldenburg both of Beloit Wisconson; nephews, Daniel Seidel of St Charles, Missouri, JIm Seidel of Charleston, South Carolina and Stephen Hemmis of Knoxville, Tennessee, Charles Seidel Sacremento, California and Charles Psajdl of Kingwood Texas. She is also remembered fondly by friends DeeAnn Gallemore, Thelma and Gene Mallett, Elaine and Lew Raines, Rina Delester, Violet Long, and Kirk and Becky Roelfsema.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Jones and Theodore "Scottie" Horine; her siblings Emil Seidel, Frank Psajdl, Charles Psajdl, Harold Seidel, and Rose (Psajdl) Durbin; sisters-in-law Jean Seidel Beloit Wisconson and Jean Seidel of Bend, Oregon and Mary Ann Seidel of Beloit, Wisconson; and a nephew, Gary Seidel and two nieces Cathy Seidel and Kathryn Hemmis Corbett
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Racine Christian Church in Neosho, Missouri, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Burial will take place in Burkhart Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.
Services are under the care of Clark Funeral Homes.
