Evelyn Louise Davison, age 87, entered into eternal rest on February 01, 2024. Born to William and Agnes (Poulter) Durham on December 01, 1936, in Eureka, KS, she brought warmth and joy to the lives she touched. Evelyn moved to Southwest Missouri from Coffeeville, KS, in 1977, making her mark in her community. A graduate of Granby High School, Evelyn devoted her life to creating a loving home as a dedicated homemaker. Her compassionate spirit led her to volunteer for various causes, including Crosslines, Red Cross, and DAV, reflecting her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Evelyn's love for sports was evident in her enthusiastic support for local games. Whether cheering on teams or attending events, she found joy in the camaraderie of sportsmanship. On June 8, 1956, Evelyn was united in marriage to Jack Davison in Granby, MO, embarking on a journey of shared dreams and enduring love. Jack preceded her in death on April 27, 2013. Surviving Evelyn are her two sons, Jackie and Terry Davison of Neosho, MO, and her sisters, JoDean Pursley and husband Vernon of Costa Mesa, CA, and Shirley Martin and husband Jim of Joplin, MO. She is also remembered fondly by numerous other family members and friends. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, a son Bobby Davison, and her siblings Virginia Bassham, Harold Leroy Durham, and Jimmy Bill Durham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Interment will follow in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 5th from 9 am until 5 pm. Together, let us honor and cherish the memory of a remarkable woman who brought love, laughter, and kindness to the world.
