Evelyn Earlene Harris of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on June 19, 2026, at Granby House in Granby, Missouri. She was 87.
Evelyn was born on March 21, 1939, in McDonald County, Missouri, to Earl Harris and Vaude (Hackney) Harris.
Evelyn worked in labor and production at La-Z-Boy for many years before her retirement.
Evelyn enjoyed her farm and found happiness in farming and caring for her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a source of tremendous joy.
She was skilled in needlepoint and crocheting.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Nickie Parvin of Goodman, Missouri, and Jesika Morgan and husband Cory, of Anderson, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Payten, Landyn, Keatyn, Serenity, Kaleb, and Kylie; one brother, Olen Harris; nieces Gail Francisco of Longview, MO, Pam and Tim Brittain of Stella, MO, Diane Harrel of Centerton, AR, Denise and Bobby Stafford of Neosho, MO, and Tammy Davidson of Tulsa, OK; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kevin Parvin and Tim Parvin; sisters, Maxine Carter, Malda Carter, and Fern Barndt; sister-in-law, Leanna Harris; brothers-in-law, Claude Carter and Farrell Carter; nephew, Steve Davidson; niece, Cindy Davidson, and two grandsons Josh Parvin and Kevin Ray Parvin II.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Union Cemetery in Rocky Comfort, Missouri.
