Glen Ray Palmer, Sr., of Neosho, Missouri, was called to heaven on September 26, 2024, at the age of 81. Glen began his journey on August 8, 1943, at Bismark, Missouri the son of Joseph and Ruth Benna (Peppers) Palmer. Glen proudly served our Country in the United States Army, serving from January 27, 1966.
Glen was an over the road truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling the country in his RV and being outdoors. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Glen is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughter, Glenda Fhanestock and husband, Tom of Farmington, Missouri, daughter Carmen Hagard of Calvert City, Kentucky, son, Glen Ray Palmer, Jr. of St. James Missouri, Christopher and wife Kelly, of St. James Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Clesta, half-brother, Eugene and half-sister, Opal Roberts.
Memorial military services will be held on October 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
