Glenn Edward Brumback, 96, went to his reward on July 29, 2023.  He was born on October 22, 1926 to Edward and Maida (Childress) Brumback on the family farm near Diggins, MO.  He graduated from Seneca High School in 1944 and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy the next day. Glenn served in the South Pacific until the end of World War II.  He returned home and went to work for BF Goodrich while attending NEO A&M where he graduated in 1950 with a degree in agriculture.  He married Anna Higginbotham on May 20, 1949.

While working on the family farm, Glenn also worked for Spencer Chemical, Meadow Gold, and as a guard at Fort Crowder Federal Prison.  In 1957, he started working as a welder for Rocketdyne.  After Rocketdyne relocated, Glenn attended Franklin Technical Institute, where he became a certified machinist; and later helped build the La-Z-Boy plant in Neosho.  He worked in the maintenance department at La-Z-Boy and later, the tooling department until his retirement.  All his life, Glenn worked his farm.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Anna.  Also survive are his children:  Robert Brumback; Cathi and Barry Ruddick; Connie and Larry Clack; David and Sandy Brumback; Cheryl and Lonnie Lawson; Lori and Tom Stith; and Chris Brumback.  Additional survivors include five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Many cousins also survive.

Glenn is preceded in death by parents, one brother, one sister, a half-brother, and a great-grandchild.
