James "Jim"
B. Branham
Jan 17, 1960 — Dec 4, 2025
James "Jim" Boyd Branham, 65, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, following an extended illness.
Born January 17, 1960, in Neosho, Jim was a lifelong resident of the community. A man of quiet strength, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty, Jim was always firm in his faith and a pillar of support for those around him.
For 35 years, Jim proudly worked at Branco Enterprises, where his skill, work ethic, and ideas earned him the respect and friendship of coworkers who became like family.
Jim's greatest joy was his family. He was the devoted husband of Melissa Branham; loving father of Zachary Branham (Maddie), Kaitlyn Phillips (Levi), and Dustin Branham (Emma); and adoring Papa to his grandson Carson Branham. He also leaves behind his brother John Branham (Vi), sister Joan Branham-Hagan (Roger), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Branham; mother, Florine Branham; and sister, Janice Branham (Wilson).
Jim lived a full life rooted in the simple things that matter most: family, hard work, and good humor. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh, ability to teach, innovative mindset, knack for numbers and later in life, a passion for travel.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Northside Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri, with service to follow at 2:00 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be: Zach Branham, Dustin Branham, Levi Phillips, Justin Branham, Mark Wilson and Bruce Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers: John Branham and Robert Hatfield.
Casket will remain closed at all times.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the "Jim Branham Memorial Scholarship Fund" in care of Neosho School District Charitable Foundation.
