Jarrell Wayne Dyer was born January 3, 1945 at Florence Nightingale Hospital in Dallas, TX to Claude Edwin and Frances Ann (Hall) Dyer.  Jarrell died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on July 26, 2023. Jarrell graduated from Stella High School and attended Joplin Junior College before marrying his childhood sweetheart, Carolyn Ann Hansford in 1965. He started his career in the grocery industry and then retired from Sunbeam Leisure after 25 years of service.

Jarrell is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dyer.  Additional survivors include his two children, Jeff (Crystal) Dyer and Cheryl (Ryan) Poage; grandchildren, Gabriel and Shelby Dyer; brother Ron (Vickey) Dyer; nephew Brad Dyer; great nephews and niece, Hunter (Lydia), Xavier, and Xylie Dyer; brother-in-law, Sam Hansford, and many cousins. Jarrell was preceded in death by his parents and beloved nephew, Brian Wayne Dyer. Private family services were held.  Contributions in memory of Jarrell may be made to Hazel Green Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice.
