~Obituary lovingly written by the family of Jauenell Jeffers~

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jauenell Marie Jeffers on September 28,2024. She was born on December 12, 1935, and lived a life filled with love, compassion, and generosity.

Jauenell Jeffers is survived by her son Mark Jeffers and his wife Tonya, her daughter Ty Marie Lux and her husband Jerry Lux. She has 6 grandsons, 7 great-grandsons, 3 great-granddaughters, 2 great-great grandsons and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 57 years Gerald "Jerry" Jeffers.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, (one who was killed as an infant during a tornado that destroyed her family home), and one grandson.

Her life was a testament to the values she cherished: She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She valued her family and friends and gave generously to those she loved. She lived independently in her home in Orcutt, California until shortly before she passed and was often seen by neighbors pulling weeds to keep the neighborhood looking sharp.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at IOOF Cemetery in Neosho Missouri on October 25, 2024, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
