Obituary

Jeffrey Paul Crabb graduated to Glory on September 25, 2025, at his home in Granby, Missouri, at the age of 73.

Jeff was born on May 21, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas, to Mary Clouse. As a baby, he was adopted by Carlos and Betty Crabb of McPherson, Kansas.

On August 16, 1975, he married the love of his life, Linda Ekdahl, at College Heights Baptist Church in Manhattan, Kansas. She survives him.

A dedicated scholar, Jeff earned three Master's degrees and his Doctorate. He applied his love for numbers and problem-solving in his work as a statistician for Citi Global. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and a proud Gideon, actively sharing his faith. He was a gifted musician and tenor who served in the church choir for years.  He was also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) fraternity.

Jeff was a man who loved to stay busy. He especially enjoyed working on his computer and tackling projects that kept his hands and mind active. His faith, work ethic, and kind heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter Paula Jean (Alan) Coleman of Paducah, Kentucky; two brothers, Danny (Sally) Bush of Granby, Missouri, and Bill Crabb of Topeka, Kansas; and two grandchildren, Lexy Raven Reed of Murray, Kentucky, and Shawn Nicholas Coleman of Fredonia, Kentucky. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Clouse, and adoptive parents Carlos and Betty Crabb.

Burial will take place Saturday October 11, 2025, 9:30am at Gibson Cemetery, with the memorial service following at 11:00am, held at Sweetwater Baptist Church.
