Jessica Renee' Phillips, 19, Neosho, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born August 8, 1989, in San Antonio, TX. Jessica was a lifelong resident of the Granby/Neosho, MO area. She graduated from Joplin High school in 2007, and worked in Customer Service at Lowe's in Joplin. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Kim and Stacie Phillips, Neosho; mother and stepfather, Cindy and Carl Carpenter, Granby; brothers, Justin Phillips and wife, Rebecca, Springfield, MO, and Jeremy Phillips, Neosho; maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Carolyn Strait, Granby; paternal grandparents, C. D. and Patsy Phillips, Joplin; paternal great grandmother, Geraline Phillips, Everton, AR; step brothers, Cory Clingan, Carl Junction, and Chris Carpenter, Granby; an aunt and two uncles. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, at Calvary Baptist Church, Joplin, with Rev. Phillip McClendon officiating, assisted by Rev. Bob Wilkie. Burial will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby. Friends may call at the funeral home Thurs. from 9 am until 7 pm, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 pm.
