Obituary

Jimmy Ray Fry Jr., 54, of Neosho, passed away at Neosho following a sudden illness. He was born on August 11, 1969, to Jimmy Ray Fry Sr. and Sandra (McBride) Ainsworth. He was a lifelong resident. He worked as a supervisor at Protein Solutions, in Joplin, for the last 15 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed boxing. His greatest love was spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church of Neosho.

Jimmy married Michelle Hutchens on June 1, 2019, in Miami, Oklahoma; she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Ryan (Brittani) Fry, of Neosho, Missouri, and two stepchildren, Andy (Jennifer) Beasley of Neosho, Missouri, and Calli Beasley of Ocean City, New Jersey, one sister, Jana (Robert) Myers of Riverton, Kansas, nephews, Kevin Morrow and Max Morrow, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Kevin Morrow.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Hazel Green Cemetery in Boulder City, Missouri. Pastor Mark Buzzard will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Sharp, Mike Sharp, Chris Hutchens, J.D. Myers, Arno Graves, and Ross Hipkins.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, between 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Bright Futures of Joplin, c/o 825 S. Pearl Avenue, Joplin, Missouri 64801.
