Judith 'Judy' Elizabeth Embrey was born on September 15, 1943, in Neosho, Missouri, one of five daughters to Frank William and Myrtle Minnie Edna (Edwards) Franklin.  She entered into rest on August 31, 2023, at her home in Hilliard, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79.  Judy graduated from Neosho High School and then attended college at MSSU in Joplin, Missouri.  She worked at the County Extension Office, as administrative assistant at North American Van Lines and then co-owned and operated Red Wheel Fundraising with her husband, Orville and served as office administrator. She enjoyed doing ceramics, and enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and Germany and other destinations. Her legacy is her love for Jesus and people, her warm hospitality, her humor, her smile, her hugs, and her prayers.  The lives she touched in her seventy-nine years are too numerous to count.  She excelled at making people feel valued.  She was known as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mom, but perhaps her favorite title was that of Mimi.  Her desire to serve the Lord and people led her to travel the country with Orville in their motor home and served with MAPS Ministry repairing and building churches and campgrounds.  She attended James River Assembly of God in Springfield, Missouri, before moving to Hilliard, Ohio.  On March 16, 1962, in Neosho, Judy and Orville R. Embrey were united in marriage and they shared sixty-one years together, Orville survives of the home.  In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by two children, Jennifer (Fabian) Orth and Lee (Donna) Embrey;  eight grandchildren, Rebekah (Andrew), Cameron (Rachel), Makayla (Dane), Katelyn and Maria; Olivia, Christian, and Elizabeth, and one great grandchild, Everly; one sister, Vicky (Alvin) Goff and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.  She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary; her parents and three sisters, Lorene Johnson, Elsie Johnson and Bertha Franklin.
