Kelly Joe Jobes, 58, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 10, 2026, in Neosho, Missouri, following several health issues.
Kelly was born on August 18, 1968, in Pittsburg, Kansas, to Jerry and Barbara (Skidmore) Jobes. He graduated from Pittsburg High School with the Class of 1986 and attended both Crowder College and Pittsburg State University. Kelly began working at Dillons, where he served as the produce manager. He later joined the United States Postal Service, working as a mail carrier until his passing.
On May 24, 1997, Kelly married the love of his life, Angela (McNamara) Jobes, in Webb City, Missouri. Together, they built a beautiful life and family. Kelly was a devoted husband and a wonderful father.
An avid reader, Kelly enjoyed discussing music, and movies, with his son Luke and going on coffee dates with his daughter, Emma. He was a passionate Atlanta Braves fan and dearly loved cats.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Angie; his son, Lucas Jobes, and his partner, Marina; his daughter, Emma Jobes, and her partner, Oliver, all of Neosho; his brother, Mark Engle, and his wife, Julie, of Frontenac, Kansas; his sister, Kathy Hanrahan, and her husband, Troy, of Springfield, Missouri; his sister, Amy Carl, and her husband, Barry, of North Platte, Nebraska; and many loving family members and dear friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jobes; his mother, Barbara (Skidmore) Jobes; and his sister, Tamie Engle.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced once finalized.
