Obituary lovingly written by the family of Laura Stuart 

Laura Christine Stuart was born on July 29, 1968, in Fresno, California to John K. Stuart, Jr. and Diane (Lundstrom) Stuart. She passed away on June 28, 2026, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.  Laura was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Laura enjoyed cooking, making jewelry, loved music, flower gardening and reading mystery novels.  She could light up a room with her smile and her laughter.  Laura will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her mother, Diane Stuart, Neosho, Missouri, a brother, John (Amy) Stuart, Neosho, Missouri; her two daughters, Virginia (Bobby) Mills, Pineville, Missouri and Nicole Massengill, Anderson, Missouri; her three grandsons, Mason, Dayton and Braylon and her niece, Jessica Stuart and her three children.  She was preceded in death by her father, John Kelly Stuart, Jr., her uncle Cameron Lundstrom, sister-in-law, Elizabeth N. Stuart, nephew, John Cameron Stuart, Jr. and great nephew, Nathanial John Keith Stuart-Owens.  

A private family service will be held.
