Laurie Lynn Olsbo was born on September 24, 1959, in Ortonville, Minnesota, to Edwin Paugh and Jeanette (Wucherpfennig) Paugh. She passed away on October 21, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 67.

Laurie graduated from Tri-Valley High School in Crooks, South Dakota. In 1994, she moved to Missouri, where she made her home. Laurie was a devoted homemaker who found joy in sewing, knitting, and caring for her family.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Jolene) Olsbo and Jamie (Kevin) Kivett, both of Neosho, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Derrick, Alexandra, Jewel, Cal, Dakota, Alice, Claire, and Kelsey; and seven great-grandchildren, Theodore, William, Violet, Jaxson, Landon, Payton, and Dawson. She is also survived by her father, Edwin Paugh, of Slayton, Minnesota, and her brother, Michael Paugh, of South Dakota.

Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Paugh.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
