Logan D. Mitchell was born on February 23, 2002, in Joplin, Missouri.  He entered into rest on September 4, 2023, at the age of 21.  Logan was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Neosho High School.  He currently was self-employed as a logger.  Logan loved nature and the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Logan was a member of the Goodman First Baptist Church.  He is survived by his mother, Heather Mitchell of Goodman; his father, David Mitchell of Carthage; two brothers, Dylan Mitchell and Austin Mitchell, both of Goodman; a niece, Emma Grace; a nephew, Connor Blake; his maternal grandmother, Jeannie Clapp of Neosho; paternal grandmothers, Vicki Fields of Goodman and Dora Mitchell of Seneca; other family and many friends, and his faithful companion, Rattler.  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, D.D. Clapp and paternal grandfather, Bud Mitchell.  Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.  Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, South of Neosho.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 3:30 to 5 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
