Lois Marie Ballard, age 83, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, in Neosho, Missouri. She was born on January 29, 1941, in White City, Kansas, to Cecil Talley and Pearl (Vanbebber) Talley.

Lois graduated high school in Topeka, Kansas, and on April 11, 1959, she married the love of her life, William Ballard. They shared 63 wonderful years together before his passing on September 5, 2022.

Lois had a talent for crocheting and enjoyed crafting beautiful creations for her loved ones. She also found joy in camping and fishing, cherishing time spent outdoors with family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Ballard of Anderson, Missouri, and James Ballard of Neosho, Missouri; two granddaughters, Dana Slatier of Houston, Texas; and Toni Ballard of Wichita, Kansas; and two grandsons, Jeremiah Moll of McPherson, Kansas; and Kyle Pamplin of Goodman, Missouri, and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her grandson, Phillip Moll, and her brother, Lloyd Talley.

At this time, no services are planned. The family requests that memories of Lois be shared privately among those who knew and loved her.
