Mark R. Schriever was born July 18, 1957, in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Roland L. and Mary (Henke) Schriever. He entered into rest on August 21, 2023, in Granby, Missouri at the age of 66.  Mark graduated from McCauley Catholic School in 1975.  He worked in retail shoe stores in Carthage, Missouri and Plano, Texas, 1992 – 2002.  In 2002 he returned to the area and was a bus driver for Neosho Public Schools.  Mark enjoyed woodworking, Falconary, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.  Mark is survived by one son, Harley Schriever and wife, Tasha of Granby; two grandchildren, Jackson Schriever and wife, Ryli and Jaelynn Schriever; three brothers, Roland L. Schriever, II and wife, Susan, Alan Schriever and Jim Schriver and one sister, Dina Schriever.  He is preceded in death by a grandson, Kaden Schriever, his parents and two brothers, Gary Schriever and Larry Schriever.  Memorial services will be held on September 21, 2023, at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Joplin.  The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time.
