Mary Jane Patterson was born June 5, 1937 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of Edmond A.. Harrison, Jr. and Inez (Montgomery) Harrison.  She entered into rest on March 15, 2023 in Neosho, at the age of 85.  Mary Jane graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1955, the first class to graduate from the new high school.  She worked at SW Lime for twenty-six years and then at Talbot Wire as a sales correspondent until retiring in 2012.  Mary Jane bowled on many different leagues for several years, she enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels and especially enjoyed being 'Monee' and attending and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities.  She was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer.  On October 18, 1958, at the Neosho United Methodist Church in Neosho, Mary Jane married Hal Ray Patterson and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2004.  Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Carol Chenoweth of Neosho; three granddaughters, Hailey (Adam) Babbit, Neosho; Teresa (Tim) Simon, Neosho and Jessica (Caleb) Powell, Webb City; great grandchildren, Dakota Simon, Blaine Babbit, Olivia Simon, Brynlee Babbit, Briella Babbit, Poppy Powell, Rigby Powell and Luna Powell; sister-in-law, Dorothy Patterson of Neosho, numerous nieces and nephews and her grand fur baby, Maggie Mae.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Denny Chenoweth.
