Michael Landon Cooley

Obituary lovingly provided by the family of Michael Cooley. 

Michael Cooley, 57, passed away on July 14, 2026, in Neosho, Missouri.

Michael is survived by his brothers, Aaron Cooley & Marcus Cooley. Also his children, Brent Welch and wife Kristen, sons, Levi, James, Zack, and Hunter Cooley and two daughters, Elsie and Millie Cooley. Also survived by Maggie Cooley, his former wife of 10 years. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Zina and Landon Cooley.

Michael loved all things nerd and absolutely loved Captain America and The Avengers including Dr. Doom. He also loved talking about Dungeons and Dragons, the Star Trek movies and all things sci-fi.

Michael loved his kids. He would talk about his 2 youngest daughters every day with his oldest son and about how proud he was of all of them. He was very proud of the good women they were growing into.

After high school, Michael joined the Air Force where he spent his time as a crew chief for the flight line. He spent some time in Okinawa, Japan. Once returning to the states,

Michael started his family. Micheal spent the remainder of his life in Neosho, where he was able to spend all his time with his two daughters.

Michael always knew how to bring joy into someone's life. Michael was well loved by his family, will be missed very deeply and never forgotten. We love you, Michael.
