Otto Lee Ware peacefully departed from this life on May 12, 2024. He first graced the world with his presence in Sherman, Arkansas, on May 24, 1923, born to Otto Lee Ware Sr. and Jlian Albirtie Wimmur. A faithful member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Neosho, Missouri, Otto lived a life filled with purpose and passion.
Professionally, Otto excelled as a government-contracted machinist, showcasing his skill and dedication to precision work. During his leisure hours, he found solace and joy in the great outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. Otto also possessed a creative side, honing his talents in crafting ornamental iron pieces, unique bolo ties, and intricately designed belt buckles.
Otto is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Wolfenbarger) Croan, whom he married on July 22, 2018, and his cherished daughter, Linda Baggerly. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mavis, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and craftsmanship that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
The family will hold graveside services at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri at a later date.
