Randy Jay Granger October 11, 1953 – July 30, 2026

Randy Jay Granger, 72, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

Randy was born on October 11, 1953, in Sacramento, California, to Fay Junior Granger and Nancy Granger (Ford). He graduated from East Newton High School in 1972, where he proudly served as captain of the football team. He married his high school sweetheart, Beverly, and together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Following in his father's footsteps, Randy began working in construction at the age of 15. Throughout his career, he helped build large commercial and industrial projects across the country. He later retired in 2015 from Midwest Foundations. Following his retirement, Randy once again returned to the workforce to manage and train employees for his son Chad in what would become R&C Tire. Randy was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in mentoring younger employees and passing along his knowledge of the trade.

When he wasn't working, Randy enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons, and friends. He treasured time with his family and created lasting memories with those he loved.

Randy is survived by wife Beverly Granger; son Chad Granger; and daughter Megan Granger; Siblings Ron Granger and Sandra Granger Eckhart.

He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Drew Granger and wife Hannah of Granby, Austin Hansford of Neosho, Kameron Stipp and wife Chae, and Demi Rains and husband Codi and Destiny Granger of Oklahoma.

His memory will also be carried on by his great-grandchildren: Olivia Granger, Sophie Granger, Copelynn Stipp, Kanyon Stipp, Rory LeAnn Rains.

Randy is proceeded in death by his parents Fay Junior Granger and Nancy Granger and three siblings Larry Granger, Leona Buckley and Gary Granger.

Randy will be remembered for his strong work ethic, unwavering devotion to his family, generous heart, and the friendships he built throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and integrity that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Randy's life on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Promiseland Fellowship Church in Granby.

  • Visitation: 1:00 p.m.
  • Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m.
