With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rhonda Dee Bridgewater of Neosho, Missouri, on April 9, 2025.

Born in Pittsburg, Kansas, Rhonda was the daughter of Robert Lee and Betty Lou Buffington. She graduated from Pittsburg High School and later earned her Associate Degree from Crowder College.

Rhonda lived a life full of quiet strength, creativity, and deep love for her family. A gifted seamstress, she poured care into every stitch, and found joy in embroidery, sewing, and the simple beauty of creating something by hand. Her kitchen was filled with warmth, and those lucky enough to share a meal with her knew the comfort of her cooking.

She had an eye for photography, a peaceful patience for fishing, and a deep affection for her garden, where her flowers bloomed under her careful touch. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her dogs, who were her companions.

Rhonda's love will live on in the hearts of her husband, Dale Bridgewater; her children, Kristoph Ryan (Erin) Howard of Oklahoma City, Jeromy Ray (Brandi) Howard of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Tarissa Dawn (Jonathan) Bates of Norman, Oklahoma, and Adam Daniel Bridgewater of Jefferson City, Missouri. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Dixie (Don) Stoner of Blue Jacket, Oklahoma; her brother, Robert Lee Buffington of Kansas City, Kansas; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Sue Buffington.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
