-Obituary lovingly provided by the family of Ricky Thurman-

Ricky Leon Thurman, aged 65, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Neosho, Missouri. He was born on September 2, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas, to Delmar and Sylvia (Johnson) Thurman. The family moved to Harrisburg Arkansas where Ricky attended school first through twelfth grade. He was active in sports.  He was raised by loving, hardworking parents.

Ricky worked at roofing and construction, he later worked at Lazy Boy. He later moved back in with his parents and helped with the farm.

Ricky found enjoyment in hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his brother Bobby (Kim) Thurman of Neosho, MO, and his half-brother Steve (Tamara) Thurman of Granby, MO. He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Sylvia (Johnson) Thurman and his brother, Gordan Wayne Thurman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Date to be determined.
