Robert A. 'Andy' Burtis, 55, Neosho, entered into rest on July 18, 2023, at his home.  Andy was born July 21, 1967 in Ames, Iowa, one of three children to Robert Allen Burtis, Sr. and Mary K. (Welch) Burtis.  Andy graduated from Neosho High School in 1986 and then entered the U.S. Navy serving during Desert Storm.  He worked as a maintenance technician at Graham Packaging in Joplin for over thirty years.  He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, working on cars, camping, and spending time with his children.  On April 14, 1997 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Andy and Myrna Nicole Toomoth were united in marriage and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2022.  He is survived by two sons, Brendan Burtis and wife, Kelly of Neosho and Justin Burtis of Neosho; his mother, Mary Burtis of Neosho and a brother, William M. Burtis of Neosho.  In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Cecelia Ann Burtis.
