Roberta Orpha Ellenwood, 97, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024.

Born on March 12, 1927, to Alva and Orpha Blackburn, Roberta dedicated her life to her family and home. A devoted homemaker, she brought warmth and love to all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Debra Butters, of Grimes, Iowa, grandchildren Kim Balch of Winterset, Iowa, Amy Bigger of Clive, Iowa and Debra McCrea of Grimes, Iowa. She is additionally survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Reg Ellenwood, her daughter Rachel Ellenwood and two grandsons, Tony Surber and Shane Olcott.
