Obituary

Roger Lee Anderson of Neosho, Missouri, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2026, at the age of 82.  He was born on April 4, 1943, to Floyd and Jaunita (Decker) Anderson in Waukegan, Illinois.

He grew up in Illinois where he met the love of his life. He was a graduate of Waukegan High School.  Roger wed Adele Elizabeth Yonke on June 5, 1965, in Zion, Illinois.  They shared 60 years of marriage before his passing.

Roger loved to travel extensively.  He visited several destinations both domestic and international over the years. He was an avid golfer and always enjoyed reading a good book.  He was an engineer by trade in Northbrook, Illinois. In May of 2022, Roger and Adele moved from Burlington, Wisconsin to Neosho, Missouri to be closer to family.

Roger is survived by his wife, Adele; daughter, Allysa Roe and husband, Edward of Neosho, Missouri; grandchildren Preston (Elizabeth) Roe, Allyvianna (Shawn) Wooten, and Selestine Roe; and three great-grandchildren: Malachi, Enoch, and Esther Roe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A Funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.  A Graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.

Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
