Ronald Dwayne Newman was born on May 19, 1954, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of Hurbert Kenneth and Rosetta Mae (Byrd) Newman.  He entered into rest on April 20, 2024, at his home in Neosho at the age of 69.  Ronald was a Journeyman painter and was a hard worker and provider for his family.  He enjoyed rock-n-roll, fishing, and golfing and was of the Baptist Faith.  On January 19, 1974, in California, Ronald and Katrina Wallis were united in marriage and she survives.  In addition to his wife of 50 years, Ronald is survived by two children, Justin Wayne Newman of Neosho and Jessica Kay Newman of California; grandchildren, Anthony Lewis, Justin Newman, Travis Newman, Nevaeh and Kaylee Newman; great-grandchildren, Alazavia Lewis and baby on the way.

He is preceded in death by twin daughters, Donna and Katrina Newman; his parents and two siblings, Sherry Grimm and Steve Newman.

Private family services will be held at 1 PM, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Fairview Hammons Community Building.
