Roy Lee Elliott passed from this world on December 29, 2024 at the age of 89. He was born to Edmon and Mae Clark Elliott on May 7, 1935 in Seymour, Texas.

After attending Seymour High School, he married Joy Chandler on June 13, 1953. They were blessed with three children. Roy held several positions including mechanic, oil well driller, surveyor and others, but his favorite was cowboy. He was yard manager for Nortex feedlot where he could use his skill and love of horses. In 1975 he married Mary Lee Daniels Sage and eventually moved to Neosho, Missouri.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Lee Elliott, as well as, a daughter Lori (Doug) Walterscheid and four sons Mark (Sheila) Elliott, Tim (Judy) Sage, Todd (Lynne) Sage, and Trey (Linda) Sage.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Neva Elliott, Gerri Gamboa, and Emma Dean Young, two brothers Loyd Elliott and Marvin Elliott, as well as, his daughter, Kim Butler.

A visitation will be held on January 3, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home-Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.

A graveside service will take place in Seymour, Texas at Bomarton Cemetery on January 6, 2025 at 3:00 pm. Friends and love ones are invited to gather to honor Roy's life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roy's memory may be made for Kenny Cemetery, 8408 Carver Rd., Neosho, Missouri 64850. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
