Sammy Gene Schenck, 71, Granby, entered into rest on September 23, 2024, in Granby.  Sammy was born on June 22, 1953, in Neosho, Missouri, the son of Frank and Ruth (Clouse) Schenck.  He was a lifelong area resident and worked as a machinist at Talbot Wire.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trading and bartering.  He was a member of Silver Moon Full Gospel Church.  Sammy is survived by his son, Dennis Schenck and wife, Audra of Ritchey; his wife, Billie Schenck of Granby; three grandchildren, Dustin Patrick and wife, Elisha of Granby, Lacey Patrick of Goodman and Samuel Schenck of Granby; four great grandchildren, Madilyn Patrick, Colton Patrick, Gunner Brown and Tucker Brown; one brother, David Schenck of Joplin and a sister, Sandy Feiser of Maryland.  He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Kathleen Schenck Patrick; great granddaughter, Gracie Patrick; his parents and siblings, Paul, Kathy, Diane, Martha and Bonnie.  Memorial services will be held on October 1, 2024 at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Granby, Missouri.
