Sandra Lynn Nicaise, age 74, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Westgate Nursing Center in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on May 9, 1949, in Carthage, Missouri, to the late Clark and Jaevenne (Zinn) Hensley. On June 16, 1971, Sandra married Al Nicaise in Joplin, Missouri, and he survives in the home. Sandra was a homemaker and enjoyed being part of the Shriners lady's group and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved listening to her oldie's music, swimming, and, most of all, loved, spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one child, Stephanie (Jason) Lonie; three grandchildren, Chaney (Daniel) Davidson, Monica (James) Hill, and Jaimee Nicaise; two nephews, Brice Mitchell and Chase Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Little James, and baby Hill due to arrive in October, and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Debbie Mitchell.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Shriner Hospital Transportation Fund, P.O. Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.
