Sarah Ann Brummett of Diamond, Missouri, passed away from this life on January 11, 2026 at Freeman West Hospital.
Sarah was born in Wentworth, Missouri to Charles F. and Verna A. (Pennel) Parrigon on May 16, 1939.
On July 25, 1958, she married her husband, Kenneth Brummett. They shared more than five decades of marriage until his passing on December 6, 2011.
Sarah was a faithful member of Diamond Christian Church.
She had a house cleaning service and ran an in-home daycare. In these ventures, she not only helped support her family, but also formed friendships for a lifetime. This was all in addition to being a homemaker.
Sarah served her community as a member of the Diamond School Board.
She is survived by her children: David (Sheila) Brummett of Granby, Keith Brummett of Bentonville, Arkansas, Merri Brummett of Webb City, Robert Brummett of Bryan, Texas, and Richard Brummett of Ironton, four grandchildren Kelsey of Bentonville, Arkansas, Emily (Jon) of Jasper, Kyler (Emily) of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Ethan of Granby, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; her siblings Carmel Copley, Elmer Copley, Billy Parrigon, Ida Mae White, Charles Parrigon, and Alma Rose Heman.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 5:00 -7:00PM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:30AM at Diamond Christian Church in Diamond, Missouri. Virgil Eubanks will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to Diamond Christian Church or Solace House, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
