Scott Parker, Jr., was born on January 3, 1976, in Gainesville, Georgia, the son of Jackie Scott Parker, Sr. and Martha Burton Parker.  He entered into rest on February 6, 2024, in Carthage, following an accident at the age of 48.  Scott worked for Schriber Cheese for over 30 years and had worked in the Gainesville, Georgia facility, the Logan Utah facility and in July, 2019, he moved from Preston, Idaho to work in the Carthage facility.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being with his family.  On June 30, 2008, in Cleveland, Georgia, Scott and Brandy Jean Cody were united in marriage and Brandy survives.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joshua Parker; his parents, Jackie Scott Parker, Jr and Martha Parker and one sister, Kimberly Southers.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Stevie Parker.  Services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.  The family will receive friends following the service until 5 pm.
